Advocacy Campaigns

Companies can lose their license to operate if they don’t join the conversation around them…

Over the last decade, I’ve worked with organizations that have faced scrutiny from the public or government that threatens their ability to operate in the United States and worldwide. Sometimes, crises are self inflicted, other times, they are born from the perfect storm of culture, politics, and circumstance. I help organizations strategize and build advocacy programs that speak to governments and mobilize grassroots movements to influence members of Congress, regulators, and key stakeholders to ensure business and brand survival.

Showing the world how Google is harnessing the power of Responsible AI. When the federal government threatened to break up Google’s Ad Business, our team strategized, built, and managed the Google Public Policy Hub to show lawmakers how Google is a helpful tool for good. We introduced the concept of “Responsible AI” and told the stories of people who use the tool for good.

Results:

  • Advised on digital content strategy to respond to live events and moments key to Google’s AI program

  • Advised on public policy strategy to ensure Google spoke in a voice that was compatible with regulators
